In Lafayette, Colorado our family has found a cool place of wisdom and worship, called Flatirons Community Church. You can find them here.
The worship services are very energetic (they hand out earplugs at the door). Their services tackle questions that real people face every day with a very straightforward, down to earth message. They back up that message with an awesome amount of outreach in the local community and around the world.
There have been many times where I have noticed God's presence in my life. I treasure the special mystery of these moments. Whether it's a positive nudging in the back of my thoughts, or ah-ha's found reading the bible that speak to me, or little things in daily life that seem improbable otherwise, I know that He is alive and working through his people daily.
The 'good news' is that no matter what your situation, He loves you and accepts you for who you are. All I can say is that it helps my family in good times and bad, and you might want to check it out for yourself. As He said, "Come and See".

If you didn't know it was Christian music, you might at first mistake it for a contemporary light rock station.
They have stations all over the country and they do great work to support many needs locally, nationally, and around the world.
