San Antonio Fiesta Flambeau Parade 2009

As described on the Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association's website:

"This parade has been nicknamed the "People's Parade". And for a very good reason. It is enjoyed by more than 500,000 people along its route, as well as another 1.5 million watching its televised live commercial-free broadcast. The parade streams through the streets of beautiful downtown San Antonio as it makes its 2.6 mile trek. So what makes this any different from any other parade, you might ask? The magic happens when the sun goes down and the parade is illuminated by thousands of lights on the floats, dancers, horses, cars, and bands, becoming a parade of light and fun for all throughout the streets of San Antonio." These photos are from the 'pre-parade' procession as well as the main nighttime parade itself.
